Preschool / Children

Here at Oak Park we consider our children as precious gifts from God. To be good stewards of these precious gifts we know we must pass on the faith to them. We seek to do this in a variety of ways:

• Sunday School—we have Sunday School classes designed specifically for our preschool and children.

• AWANA—this is our Wednesday night ministry for children ages 3 to 5th grade. In this ministry your child will memorize Bible verses as well as learn the great stories found within God’s Word.

• Vacation Bible School (VBS)—each year we offer this week long event that focuses on teaching our children the Bible and its principles. Through this time we hope to engage our children with the gospel and see them trust in Christ and grow in their faith.

• Children’s Camp—during the summer we take our children away for 3 or 4 days to a Christian Camp where they enjoy activities, Bible lessons, and have time to build relationships with their friends, as well as their pastors.

• Upward—over 150 children participate in our Upward Basketball program. Here they learn what it means to work and play hard in a Christ-saturated atmosphere, while having a blast!
