Thank You

Nick Weaver would like to thank all of you who gave up part of your Saturday to help with the church work day.

Haiti Relief

Many of you have contacted us about helping our brothers and sisters in Haiti. Over the next few Sundays we would ask that you consider giving a financial contribution beyond your regular offering in order to help with relief efforts. Our goal is to collect $6,000. Please make checks out to "Oak Park Baptist Church," with "Haiti Relief" in the memo line. For an updated list of the current needs, please visit http://www.thehaiticollective.com/matthew/.

Amazing Grays’ Bible Study

The next Amazing Grays’ Bible Study and pitch-in lunch will be this Tuesday, November 1 starting at 12:00 noon in the gym.

Please make plans to attend our next Discovering Oak Park, a one day class, which will be held on Sunday, November 6 immediately after the worship service. Lunch will be served, so please RSVP at http://oakparkbaptist.com/join by Monday, October 31. Or you can call the church office 812.283.9400.

We will meet from 7- 8pm, but you are welcome to join us at 6:30pm to see our regular events. Parents with only young children will meet in the upstairs conference room. Parents of teens will meet in the fellowship hall.

Veteran's Appreciation Breakfast

Our annual Veteran’s Appreciation Breakfast will be held on Sunday, November 13th, from 8:30-9:10. Feel free to stay awhile and visit or grab breakfast to go. Also, to show appreciation for our veterans we are asking everyone to wear red on that day. This is open to the whole church so come and show your appreciation to our veterans. If you would like to help in any way please see Amy Heavner or email her at amyheavner@gmail.com.
