Connect
First and foremost, Oak Park is committed to introducing people to Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus Christ that an individual is forgiven of all their sin, has peace with God, has a right standing with God and possess the strength and ability to live their life in a manner pleasing to God. We believe that God is in the business of changing lives and so we want to have environments at Oak Park that will facilitate people’s ability to connect with the God of the universe. The primary way we do this is through our weekly Sunday morning worship services and our Sunday School. These environments combine biblical teaching, encouraging music and life-applicational preaching to help people experience the presence of God and be transformed by His Truth. Additional opportunities to connect with God are blended throughout our various other ministries.

Grow
The Christian life is meant to be one in which we are continually growing! Once we experience the grace of God and come to Christ in faith we enter into a life-long process of growing in our relationship with Jesus. Here at Oak Park Baptist Church we want to partner with God’s people to help them do just that: Grow! We offer various avenues through which we seek to accomplish this. Whether it be through our Sunday School, Sermon Archives, Preschool/Children’s ministry, Student ministry, or our Small Group ministry, we have one intention…to help you grow in your faith. We pray that as you Connect here at Oak Park that you will take advantage of the ministries we offer and continue to grow in your walk with the Lord. |

Serve
The church is a body of believers brought together through faith in Jesus Christ. Once you become a believer the Bible tells us you have been given a spiritual gift “so that the body of Christ may be built up” (Ephesians 4:12). God gives you this spiritual gift whereby He supernaturally enables you to help, support and serve what He is doing in the church, both locally (Oak Park) and around the world. Jesus even said Himself, “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45). Service is at the center of what we do. Jesus has graciously given us the invaluable gift of the forgiveness of our sins (past, present and future) so in response we offer up our lives in gratitude to Him by serving Him and His church.
